I am a graduate of Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland (MA in Psychology) as well as University College London (PhD). I am a lecturer in psychology at University College Cork, with particular interest in child development and special educational needs.
I have nearly 20 years’ experience of teaching psychology and social science research methods (including statistics and SPSS). I have worked with undergraduate and postgraduate students on a variety of courses (psychology, education, Early Years, Speech and Language Therapy), in Ireland, UK and Poland. I have supervised a number of research projects, including some PhDs. I have also run workshops for childhood practitioners (teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapist, etc.).

I enjoy teaching and always try to make difficult concepts accessible. I can not only help you learn psychology, research methods and statistics, but also develop general study and academic literacy skills (searching for, selecting and evaluating sources, effective strategies for reading academic literature, essay writing skills, referencing, etc.)
I am happy to work with students of any level. Needless to say, I cannot offer paid support to the students of the courses I teach on at UCC.
Ratings and Comments about Marcin
I highly recommend Marcin! I was stuck with lab report and Spss but after one session of grinds I done my assignment in no time. He is patient, knowledgeable and very positive person. I actually like statistics much more now:))
