I am passionate about Psychology and how it can be used to improve quality of life and care provision. In recent years I began lecturing in Psychology and realised that teaching is something I really enjoy and want to continue. I have just been appointed as a lecturer on a core module on the BSc Social Care.
Part of my role is marking assignments and as a result I have a firm grasp on writing to academic/journal standard. I enjoy using real life case studies from work experiences to highlight and explain psychological theories and models to students which makes it easier to assimilate and most importantly understand the information.
My strengths lie in:
- Pre submission essay/report reviewing
- Essay planning
Ratings and Comments about Deirdre
Dee is an excellent tutor who I would highly recommend. She went above and beyond to help me with my assignment in qualitative research methods. Having never studied research methods before, this area was new to me, but Dee made it very accessible and was a huge help.
